The Genesis Social Welfare Foundation, established 75 years ago, cares for individuals in a vegetative state, with 26.4% of them being victims of car accidents.
To prevent such tragedies, the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation actively engages with schools, aligning with the government's promotion of "Traffic Safety Month," to promote free traffic safety awareness activities. Utilizing educational materials tailored to different age groups, they educate elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as college students, about traffic safety. They also integrate life education, using vegetative individuals as examples, to instill a sense of self-protection and respect for life.
The Genesis Social Welfare Foundation Pingtung Branch currently provides care for 56 vegetative individuals. Each year, they organize charity fairs to raise funds for the care of vegetative individuals, allowing the public to learn about traffic safety through activities and games while substantially assisting vegetative individuals. Together, they spread love and kindness.
